Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of www.redblacktree.com and its subdomains (the “Site”), operated by RedBlackTree Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN: U72200TN2002PTC050113) with its registered office at #8, Lalitha Nagar 1st Street, Papanasam Sivan Road, Santhome, Chennai 600004, Tamil Nadu, India (“RedBlackTree”, “we”, “us”).

By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept them for it. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. The Site is information, not an offer

The Site describes who we are and the kind of work we do. Nothing on it is an offer to contract, a quotation, or a promise that a particular service, feature, price or result is available.

Our services are provided only under a written agreement signed by RedBlackTree, such as a master services agreement, statement of work or order form. If anything on the Site conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement prevails. These terms don’t create any client relationship, partnership or obligation to provide services.

2. About the content

We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but:

• It is general information. It isn’t legal, financial, technical or other professional advice, and you shouldn’t rely on it as such. Speak to us, or to a qualified adviser, about your specific situation.
• Client stories are illustrative. Clients are described without names, and some details are simplified. Results described reflect particular circumstances and aren’t a guarantee of similar results for you.
• Some features are planned. Where we describe capabilities as planned or “coming next”, they may change, be delayed, or not be released.
• Forward-looking statements. Statements about our plans, products or future performance reflect our current intentions and are subject to change without notice.
• Tools we use. Some content may be prepared with the help of software tools, including AI tools. We review it, but we don’t warrant that it is complete, accurate or error-free.

3. Using the Site

You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own information or internal business use. You agree not to:

• use the Site in any unlawful way, or in breach of these terms;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or the systems behind it, probe or test its vulnerabilities outside our responsible disclosure process, or interfere with its operation, including through denial-of-service attacks or by introducing malicious code;
• access the Site with automated tools in a way that ignores our robots.txt or places an unreasonable load on our systems;
• copy, reproduce or republish substantial parts of the Site, or frame it, for commercial purposes without our written permission; or
• impersonate RedBlackTree or our people, or misrepresent your relationship with us.

We may suspend or block access to the Site, in whole or in part, to protect it, our users or our business.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, illustrations, page designs, code, the RedBlackTree name and the RedBlackTree logo, belong to RedBlackTree or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Using the Site doesn’t give you any rights in them except the limited permission in section 3.

Methodical and other product names on the Site are trademarks of their respective owners. Third-party names and logos, including those of our technology partners, belong to their owners, and their appearance doesn’t imply endorsement beyond the relationship described.

5. What you send us

Please don’t send confidential information through the contact form or by unsolicited email. Until we have a signed confidentiality agreement with you, we can’t treat what you send as confidential.

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you agree we may use them without obligation to you. This doesn’t give us any rights in your own confidential information or intellectual property that you later share under a signed agreement.

You’re responsible for what you send us. It must not be unlawful, infringe anyone’s rights, or contain malicious code.

6. Recruitment fraud

RedBlackTree never asks candidates for money, deposits, fees, or bank or card details at any stage of hiring. We advertise roles only on this Site and our official social media accounts, and we communicate only from email addresses ending in @redblacktree.com. Applications go to jobs@redblacktree.com.

If someone offers you a job with RedBlackTree and asks for payment, or contacts you from any other domain, it is fraudulent. Please don’t respond, and report it to jobs@redblacktree.com. RedBlackTree is not responsible for any loss caused by people who falsely claim to represent us.

7. Links to other sites

The Site links to websites and services we don’t control, such as our social media pages and partners’ sites. We aren’t responsible for their content, policies or practices, and a link isn’t an endorsement. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8. Availability and security

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site at any time without notice. We don’t guarantee that the Site will be available at all times, uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components. Please use your own security measures when accessing it.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• RedBlackTree, its affiliates and their directors, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with the Site or these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable or if we were advised of the possibility.
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Site or these terms will not exceed INR 10,000 (Indian Rupees ten thousand).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud. These limits apply to use of the Site only; liability for our services is governed solely by the signed agreement for those services.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RedBlackTree, its affiliates and their directors, officers, employees and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data, and form part of these terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction, subject only to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.

14. General

• Changes. We may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows the current version, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
• Severability. If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the affected part applies to the maximum extent permitted.
• No waiver. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver of it.
• Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms; you may not without our written consent.
• Force majeure. We aren’t liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Entire terms. These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site. They don’t replace any signed agreement for services.
