We want everyone to be able to use www.redblacktree.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We design and build the Site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
- text and controls meet WCAG colour-contrast ratios against our dark backgrounds;
- images have text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers;
- headings and landmarks give each page a clear structure;
- animations respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting; and
- text in Tamil, Hindi and Odia is marked with its language, so assistive technology reads it correctly.
We check pages with automated accessibility tools before they are published, and review key journeys by hand.
Where we fall short
No site is perfect. If something on the Site is hard for you to use, please tell us at hello@redblacktree.com with the page address and what happened. We’ll aim to reply within five working days, and to fix the problem or provide the information another way.
